Speech Therapy

At TBI Solutions, our Speech and Language Pathologists evaluate, diagnose and treat a variety of communication disorders in adults. After a traumatic brain injury, changes in language ability, cognition and memory can occur.  Speech therapy can help improve many brain functioning activities including but not limited to memory, problem solving, reasoning and organizational skills.

Speech therapy treats cognitive disorders including:

• Visual and Auditory attention
• Memory
• Executive functioning – including planning, sequencing, and reasoning
• Higher-level language disorders – including verbal expression, auditory processing, and reading comprehension

Our speech therapy services are provided by licensed Speech and Language Pathologists who are certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association.
